Teemu Saarelainen

RDI – Expert Lead Partner: South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences – Xamk
Teemu is a long-time game business veteran who has played a key role in building the Playa Game Industry Hub in Finland, and currently focuses on developing game education and teaching as a Senior Lecturer at Xamk. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Tampere University of Technology and a Post-Grad. diploma in Entrepreneurship from Cambridge University.

Ari Hautaniemi

Project Manager Project Partner: LAB University of Applied Sciences – Lahti
Ari works as a project manager and an RDI Specialist at the LAB University of Applied Sciences in Lahti, Finland. For the past few years he has been actively developing the game industry ecosystem in the Lahti region and managed various game industry-related projects aiming at boosting the skills and know-how of different game development teams. He has also taught Game Design and Future Digitalization, focusing on the behavioral aspects of gamification and technology.

Ria Gynther

RDI-specialist Project Partner: LAB University of Applied Sciences – Lahti
Ria works as a project manager and RDI specialist at LAB University of Applied Sciences. She’s also a keen Game Jammer and game industry active, currently collaborating with IGDA Finland, We in Games Finland and Game Makers of Finland.

Anton Albiin

Project Manager Project Partner: Dataspelsbranchen – Swedish Games Industry
Anton is a Project Manager at the Association of Swedish Game Developers and is responsible for internationalization, trade missions, events and supporting independent game developers. Anton worked previously at Mojang, the makers of Minecraft. He is the main organizer of the Nordic Party at GDC/Gamescom, Invests in Games, Indie Game Dungeon Stockholm and Swedish Game Awards. He has supported teams both as a mentor and intermediary in investments and partnerships.

Henri Hanson

Project Manager Project Partner: Tartu Science Park
Henri is a long-time project manager at Tartu Science Park specialised in public business support projects. Since 2017 he has been involved in developing games support services with the help of two international projects: Game Camps and Baltic Game Industry, supporting early-stage game developer teams in their internationalisation activities. Since 2020 he is working on his Master’s at University of Tartu focusing the final thesis on public game sector support activities.

Laura Vilsone

Project Manager Project Partner: Latvia Technology Centre
Laura has worked five years in the gaming industry as a 2D artist/animator and counting. She participated in the previous project called, GameCamps accelerator and Magnetic Latvia business incubator. In 2019 – 2020, she was a Member of the Board of the Latvian Game Developers Association, she is currently the Chairperson of the board. Laura has a great knowledge of the Latvian gaming industry.
